Making of Crocodile

A real crocodile is slashed by a knife therefore it is banned and placed on the American Humane Unacceptable list.

Differences in the international version:

-a new opening credits scene where the creature is seen eating a pair of naked women.

-Sequences from other Chaiyo films are inserted into the film, including a scene where three children are eaten alive by the crocodile.

Hand amputated

-The hurricane at the beginning is longer

-The scene where the creature attacks a herd of water buffalo occurs much later

The creature’s lengthy attack on a riverside village takes place in two separate scenes

– The ending is different: In the Thai version, Tony destroys the crocodile after throwing a dynamite fuse into its jaws. The international version has Peter’s self-sacrifice causing the explosion.

Our view on Crocodile

This is a great movie to watch mere from the unbelievable scenes that are in it. Complete villages are destroyed. Loads of people are killed by a creature that is sometimes so obviously fake and in other occasions its gory when they slash a real live crocodile. It is hard to find on its original media (vhs or betamax) but transfers on dvd exist. Exploitflix urges you to watch this if you like exploitation movies.
