Shocking Asia After dark also known as Shocking Asia 3 is a Shockumentary mainly focused on Japan. It contains scenes of violence and of a sexual nature in a documentary style just to exploit.
Plot
Being a mondo, the film has no traditional plot, instead showing a series of shocking and disturbing video clips, primarily from Asia.
Notable scenes
The slaughter of a chicken is not recommended to see.
The scenes in Japanese sexshops and brothels are sick too.
Making of Shocking Asia 3
This was a sequel to Two prior Shocking Asia films. Also it was one of the last of the Mondo’s starting in the sixties with the Italian Mondo Cane. But after the mid nineties the internet came up and the mondo’s were obsolete.
Our view on Shocking Asia after dark
if you like the Mondo Cane and Faces of the Death films, Shocking Asia is for you. We don’t like the Animal Cruelty but that is part of the Mondo films.
